Snow Day!
Sure the photo's a bit old and it's not even in DC. We have far less snow today and it's more like slush anyway, but you get the idea. DCPS is closed; could be a good day for the museums or just working around the house.
On the way back from sledding, you should pick up some of those wines everyone was referring you to. All that playing in the snow should knock the kids out early...
I vote for "working around the house." So much to do this time of year. I am hoping (for myself) to have a few more days of this activity, and then I can go out and do the museums, etc. There is an icon exhibit in Baltimore I especially want to see.
I went to Battery Kimble Park which has some very nice hills around 1PM. Caught a few rides as did my girlfriend's kids and mom (first time) visiting from Hawaii. The snowball fights were best with the Haole being the natural target. By 2:30PM the hill and snowballs were showing mud so we squished away for hot ramen and udon in Bethesda.. :)
