Sorry, you hit a nerve. I've got a Mexican Fatty and it has outlasted every other guitar up to and including various American guitars in my collection. In fact, after ten years, it is now my only solid body electric. And I have used and abused it quite abit, even made money off of it.
Casey: don't get me wrong, I love that guitar. It feels good and is smooth to play. I like it better than my other electric guitar, which is an SG. I've had the strat about fourteen years...no complaints. My acoustic on the other hand I think needs an upgrade.
