Here's a moron for you.

Wow. They must grow them dumb in Colorado. According to CNN.com, Colorado Republican Representative Tom Tancredo made this Ann Coulter-esque oversimplification on Friday:

Talk show host Pat Campbell asked the Littleton Republican how the country should respond if terrorists struck several U.S. cities with nuclear weapons.
"Well, what if you said something like -- if this happens in the United States, and we determine that it is the result of extremist, fundamentalist Muslims, you know, you could take out their holy sites," Tancredo answered.
"You're talking about bombing Mecca," Campbell said.
"Yeah," Tancredo responded.

God what an idiot. Sort of like the British government bombing the Vatican for an IRA attack.

I am a pacifist, BUT I might be hard pressed to not press a button of retaliation if a suitcase bomb went off in D.C....granted I wouldn't know what hit me, or be around to blog about it, but mutual destruction worked pretty well in the cold war, yes?

Mutual destruction worked well enough because it was a one to one relationship: USSR v USA. Both targets were well-defined. This moron advocates a reaction that fails to hit its target.

That said, a suitcase bomb in DC would be very disturbing.

Actually, I think this could be a great deterrent...this moron might have stumbled on to sumthin! If you bomb us your holiest of holy cities goes bye bye.

Total jackass. Why do people have to be so devisive. Christian fanatics bomb abortion clinics, do we hate all christians? Why is it different when the fanatics are Muslim. Besides, a lot of terrorist actions are based on objections to issues of policy. Get a grip.

If you bomb us your holiest of holy cities goes bye bye.
that mentality is so shallow.
